Here is a low-fat, low-carb, high-protein, whiz-bang recipe that I just created this morning Ingredients
2/3 cup LSA
3 tablespoons psyllium husks
1 2/3 cup home brand unprocessed natural bran
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup powdered egg whites (equivalent 9 fresh egg whites)
1 medium carrot, finely grated
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon stevia powder
5 sachets splenda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp coconut essence
1 cup waterMethod
Combine LSA, bran, psyllium husks, protein powder, baking powder, sweeteners and cinnamon in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, add the water and egg white powder and whisk together. Add eggs and vanilla & coconut essence and keep whisking.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and combine well.
Fold through the grated carrots
Bake on 200 degrees for about 15 minsNutritional info (get this!)
