scrambled eggs are great.. I just play it by ear.

My favourite way is:

get your frypan
put in avocado oil (not too much! but trust me it tastes delicious, or use olive oil or canola oil, whatever)
crack eggs into bowl
add in around a cup of milk, whisk it through
add grated cheese
(basically, the more milk u add the runnier it is.. you can balance that out with cheese, or dont have cheese and only add a bit of milk)
at this point i usually throw in some sundried tomatos too.. YUM

pour into frypan

constantly "harass" the mixture, stirring it constantly so that it doesnt stick and become an omelette

when its fluffy and "looks like" scrambled eggs, serve and eat!

i know that's a crap recipe, others must have better ones?but i really just play it by ear.. *cough* anyway hope i helped a little!

That sounds yummy,
My scrambled eggs are not quite so fancy.

melt a little butter or margarine in a pan (for taste and to stop it sticking to pan)
add some beaten eggs with a tiny splash of milk.
add salt and pepper.

Hi Kate, Here is an omlete recipe that you might like to try as well. Scrambled eggs are all but covered above so I thought that I might tempt your tastebuds (healthily of course!!) You don't have to wait for heaps of guests, you can just make it for the family!! hope you enjoy it!!

ZIPLOC OMELET
(This works great !!! Good for when all your family is together. The best part is that no one has to wait for their special omelet !!!)

Have guests write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker.

Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them. (Or you can give them a whisk first, then pour them in the bag)

Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc.

Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake.

Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.

Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot.

For more, make another pot of boiling water.

Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Imagine having these ready the night before, and putting the bag in boiling water while you get ready. In 13 minutes, you got a nice omelet for a quick breakfast!!!

The pics displayed used tomatoes, ham, shallots, grated cheese and mushrooms in
this one!

Try it. . . . it really works!!!

It is all explained there mate....much easier than me trying to bumble my way through explaining it!!! You can have a crack at it on that page too, just for practice!!! have fun!!

Wow Ally those omelettes look amazing. What a neat party trick too.

Oh and Mandie I love your choice of words.

constantly "harass" the mixture

 that's definitely how I scramble the eggs, harass them!
