Sausage Rolls

Sausage Rolls
makes 4 large or 12 small

200g very lean mince
100g sausage mince
1/2 small onion
1/2 level tsp mixed herbs
1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
1/2 cup skim milk
8 sheets filo pastry
cooking spray
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 220*. Mix breadcrumbs and milk in a small bowl, leave for 2 minutes. In a medium size mixing bowl combine all ingredients, except filo pastry, using your hands mix the ingredients together well. Layering all the sheets of filo on top of each other, spraying with cooking spray between each layer. Cut in half. Divide sausage roll mixture in half and roll one half into a long sausage shape that will fit onto cut pastry sheets. Tightly but gently roll the sheets away from you. Repeat this again with remaining ingredients. For large sausage rolls cut each roll in half (4 sausage rolls) For small ones cut each roll into 6 peices. Place on flat baking tray that has been coated with cooking spray. Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
