Oh yeah Sassygirl I have the whole 5 books!!! I think they are great and the recipes are really easy!! Haven't tried the choc-chip muffins, but the Wicked Chocolate Cake is simply divine and great for a choccie hit without too many calories!!!

What are they and where can you buy them?

Are they basically yummy, but healthy low fat recipes?

Do they include nutritional information?

Thanks.

They are the only recipe books that I own. Some of the recipes are bland and yuk but there are also some "to die for" recipes in there. I don't know what book number it is in - but the Lemon Meringe Pie recipe is yummy as are those choc chip muffins (her secret is apple sauce in them that makes them moist!!)

In case you go looking dancer the books are titled Symply Too Good (ie there is a 'y' in symply rather than an 'i' as they're written by a lady called Annette Sym so the books are a play on her name..you can check out a few recipes from the books at her website http://www.symplytoogood.com.au/

I would agree with others here...they are great books...generally quite easy recipes...often they're healthy versions of old favourites (like tuna mornay, meat pies and other family meals)...they all have nutritional information and comments & suggestions from a dietician...I would say about half of what I cook comes from one or other of these books
Cheers, Mary

If I could find a ticker for measurements it would say I'm on the way from a waist measurement of 134cm to one of 70cm (currently at 129cm)

My hubbie cooked me the chicken stroganoff followed by the sticky date muffins with low fat custard for dessert (my birthday is in winter so it went down a treat!!) yummo!!

I also love Annette's books and have all 5 of them. I call them my bibles. I went to a BBQ and had to take dessert and made the mud cake and there was not one person who picked that it was a low fat cake. They all wanted to know where I had bought it from!!!!

My fiance's fave is the stroganoff

I made that mud cake for my hubby's birthday last year!!! It is very yummy and well worth the indulgence! It only has a fraction of the calories and fat of a traditional mudcake!!

what, that anette is lovely you mean? I emailed her about a year ago about how I was struggling with weightloss and sticking to my healthy eating, and she emailed me straight back that night, she was really encouraging and gave me some tips that she used. I would love to go to one of her seminars but dont know if they come to Melb.... why have u had a bad experience with her Kate?
