Bean Salad

Postby Butterfly_Dawn » Tue Nov 22, 2005 5:26 pm

Grab a can of 5 bean mix from your local supermarket, rinse and drain and mix with chopped capsicum, red onion, and corn with a little white balsam wine vinegar or rice vinegar. Yummy and lots of fiber!

If you just throw the lot in to a sealable contaner and shake it makes for easy preparation and you can keep the container in the fridge - it gets better with age apparently.

15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Another tasty bean recipe is to get a can of 4 Bean Mix and a can of chickpeas, drain and mix together with a couple of table spoons of Sweet Chilli Sauce...another great fibre hit and very filling...
