Last night I ate rice after having so much conversation about it. Hopefully have not ruined my diet to much. It was awful brown rice. but for me it was great. I did weigh myself today and have lost a kilo this week. hope the rice wont ruin that. But I love the idea of the rice and veges just thrown together. I will only dream as my rice last night was a one and only slip up.

have u tried basmati kate? with a bit of flavouring i cant taste the difference between that and long grain white. me and my boy are lazy and we use the semi precooked packs, u heat them in the microwave for 2 minutes and they are ready :) they come in a serving size for 2 people which is great so we dont pig out!

Basmati is HEAPS nicer than any other white rice!! I actually like brown, but the bloke doesn't so Basmati is a good compromise!!

And I'm sure eating that rice won't affect you too much, it was brown rice so it was low GI and that's great! Any carb impact I'm sure you can accommodate with some exercise!!
