Basmati is HEAPS nicer than any other white rice!! I actually like brown, but the bloke doesn't so Basmati is a good compromise!!
And I'm sure eating that rice won't affect you too much, it was brown rice so it was low GI and that's great! Any carb impact I'm sure you can accommodate with some exercise!!
