No way, gas rules. I would so love a gas cooktop when we do the kitchen, but we would then have to find other things to make gas to make it worthwhile. And the thing with a convection microwave is that the heat all comes from the top so you have to do some fiddling with your recipes/cook times to get them cooked all the way through. I set things on egg rings so the heat gets underneath. It's better than the festy haven't-been-cleaned-in-millenia-found-with-frypan-full-of-fat-inside oven

Had a look in Target today for a George Foreman, and I saw one with the side Griddle on it so that you can also cook eggs, tomato or pancakes etc. at the same time as your meat Image

It was priced at $120 which I guess is kinda reasonable for that kinda thing..???

Ummm..I do have a :?: tho, Target had a grill on display and it made me wonder where all the fat goes?? It didn't seem to have a drip tray or anything to catch all the "crap" does it just drip all over the sink or bench or is there an attachment that goes on it??

I'm a bit puzzled now Image LOL...

zojo.

years ago before the george foreman came out my mum one a grill i think it was made from sunbeam or something and it had a little side part where the fat could drip out however it never did. it just kind of pooled in the grill and it didnt come with a container to catch the dripping fat you just put a little plate there to catch it instead but it never came out because unlike the george foreman it wasnt a sloping type grill- stupid really, so we only used it for sandwiches after that lol.

i personally wouldnt spend $120 on a george foreman grill because i dont have $120 to budget for one of those lol. id probably just get another small one but the big ones are good if you have a big family

On the gas stoves....we don't have the cylinders which is great, we have the gas line.....a lot cheaper than the cylinders :D :D
