My mum introduced these to me over Christmas, they are very yummy and are high in the good fats such as the Omegas which are found in the seeds used.
Grab a mix of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, linseeds and sesame (or any combination you like). Start with the bigger seeds and throw them in a dry pan and dry roast them for a bit, then the smaller seeds. When roasted (careful not to burn) put in a bit of soy sauce or if you are avoiding soy, I guess you could use a bit of herb salt or any flavour you like dissolved in water. Stir them until the fluid has evaporated.
I think they'd be fantastic to take to parties with some dried fruit and nuts and fruit and carrot sticks etc. (especially if you have friends with heart problems etc) The only thing is, they do have lots of oils (even if they are the good ones) so you have to make sure you don't go overboard.
