Vegetable and Ham Slice Recipe

This recipe makes a perfect breakfast, snack or even a light lunch.

As well as tasting great, it is also very easy to prepare and cook.

Feel free to substitute the ham for bacon (excess fat trimmed off of course) if you like.

You can use any chutney you desire to garnish the top of the slices.

Easy Vegetable and Ham Slices

Recipe Serves:

This Recipe Serves 4.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup low fat milk
  • 2 Slices ham, finely diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Chutney, to garnish

Recipe Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees (160 degrees fan forced). Grease a 30cm flan tin.
  2. Whisk eggs and milk together until well combined.
  3. Add ham, onion, carrot and stir well to combine.
  4. Pour flour into egg mix and mix in well.
  5. Pour into greased pan and cook in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until set.
  6. When cooled, take out and cut into triangles or rectangles.
  7. Place spoonfuls of chutney onto slices and serve.
