Mango Fool Recipe

This Mango Fool recipe is perfect for anyone on a weight loss diet with a sweet tooth and loves desserts.

Because it's made with low fat ricotta, low fat custard and fresh fruit, it is low in fat and high in flavour. And best of all, you won't find many dessert recipes that are easier to prepare than this one.

This recipe is low fat and low sodium.

Healthy Dessert Recipe :  Mango Fool

Recipe Serves:

This Recipe Serves 4.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 150g low fat ricotta cheese
  • 125g low fat vanilla custard
  • 2 ripe mangoes (or 1 can mango pulp and 1 fresh mango for topping)
  • 100g blueberries

Recipe Method:

  1. Process canned mango or 1 fresh mango in food processer until pureed.
  2. Place ricotta cheese and custard into bowl and mix together until combined.  Add processed mango into mixture and stir.
  3. Place mixture into desert cups or glasses only ¾ full.  Chop fresh mango and place on top with the fresh berries.
