Healthy Dinner Recipe:  Beef and Black Bean Noodles Recipe

Recipe Serves:

This Recipe Serves 2.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 350g Singapore Noodles
  • 2 tablespoon Peanut Oil
  • 500g Beef strips (fillet)
  • 1 Onion sliced or cut into wedges
  • 1 red capsicum sliced or cut into cubes
  • 2 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 200g broccoli cut into florets
  • 120g black bean sauce

Recipe Method:

  1. In a large heatproof bowl place noodles and cover with hot boiling water and soak for 2 minutes.  Drain, keeping aside 1 cup of the water.
  2. Heat peanut oil in a wok or large frypan & add beef in batches for 1 minute. set aside on a plate.
  3. Pour 1 cup of hot water into pan and simmer broccoli until half cooked.  Drain water and set broccoli aside.
  4. Remaining oil stir fry onion, capsicum, for 2 minutes, add ginger and garlic, add broccoli and beef, sauce and noodles until well combined.
  5. Serve immediately.
