Spiced Blackcurrent & Apple Juice Recipe

This Spiced Blackcurrent and Apple Juice Recipe is a winter warmer that combines a popular juice combination with some flavoursome spices to give it some extra zest.

Enjoy instead of tea or coffee for a healthy cold day pick-me-up.

Spiced Blackcurrent & Apple Juice Recipe

Recipe Serves:

This Recipe Serves 2.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups (500ml) apple and blackcurrant juice
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Recipe Method:

  1. Pour blackcurrant and apple juice into a microwave proof jug.
  2. Place star anise and cinnamon stick in with black currant and apple juice.
  3. Heat juice with spices for 1 minute or until heated to your liking
  4. Using a sieve, remove the star anise and cinnamon stick (or leave in the glass if you would like the flavor to infuse more.
  5. Serve immediately in a tall glass or mug.
