Banana, Apricot & Bran Smoothie Recipe Healthy Snack Recipe : Banana, Apricot ANd Bran Smoothie

Research suggests that many of us don't consume enough fibre in our diets and that because it keeps us feeling fuller longer, fibre can help us to lose weight.

This smoothie contains a considerable amount of fibre as bran has been added. It is quite thick however, and if you prefer yours to be a little less thick, simply add ½ cup more low fat milk. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and enjoy!
Serves:
This Recipe Serves 2.
Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup low fat milk
  • 2 apricots (canned or fresh - stone removed), halved
  • 2 tablespoons bran
Method:

  1. Place banana, apricots, milk and bran in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon.
