Pear Boat with Fruit Salsa and Passion Fruit Recipe

Pear Boat with Fruit Salsa and Passion Fruit  Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 Packham Pear, halved
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice or lemon juice
  • 1 small orange, peeled and segmented 
  • 1 kiwi fruit
  • 1 apple, cored and diced
  • 1 passion fruit, pulp removed

Recipe Method:

  1. Remove core from pear, drizzle ½ tablespoon orange juice over pear (to stop browning).
  2. Mix together kiwi fruit and apple, add the rest of the orange juice and mix until combined.
  3. Place orange segments on top of pear, then spoon over apple and kiwi fruit mixture finishing with passion fruit pulp drizzled over the top.
  4. Serve immediately.

Additional Comments:

Try changing the fruit in the fruit salsa, you might find some other flavours that really enhance this recipe.
