I use this trick to help me recover from the will to drink soda.
Whenever I see a drink on my table, i close my eyes, and then i imagine myself drinking it. I literally drink the soda in my mind. After drinking it (in my mind, i.e.) , keeping my eyes closed, I remember how bad I would feel afterward. I would then imagine this soda having germs, bacteria, malaria..and everything bad i can imagine and walah!...i don't wanna drink soda anymore!
This works for me...In the beginning, this process may seem to be taking too long, but as one gets used to it, its a miracle.
Btw, in this way, i have stopped drinking any beverages, and have also overcome mygreatest weakness which are rice, pasta, pizza, burger and *yum*...hotdogs...lol.....
