Hi everyone, I posted in intro, but thought Id join in here.
Ive decided this is the year to push my health and weightloss to the forefront. Im a 33 yr old woman, a mother of 3 gorgeous kiddos. (7,4, and 2 yrs). Id gotten back into shape by going to the gym consistently for over 10 years (during pregnancy and after the births) and not had an issue... until my youngest was diagnosed with a chronic illness. I left the health club I was at at that time to focus on my sons health and give everything to learning how to care for him. With that came a long winter where i ate too much bad food and became quite sendentary. In the last part of 2011 I gained about ten kilos and I feel awful for it. My wake up came when the dr told me my blood pressure was up.
My husband is really supportive and hes cleaned up his diet also so we have no junk in the house. He got me a 12 month membership to a new gym where I have unlimited use of pools, do classes and cardio equip and weights.

My goal is to work out up to an hour each of 6 nights a week, and have one rest day (with active recovery like walking the dog or going park with kids) and one cheat day with food being flexible.
I started at 84kg and this week have lost 2kg. I set goals of 1 kg loss per fortnight and my first mini goal is the couch to 5km program so I can do a 5km fun run with my eldest son in March this year.
