Hi Jodie. I started out at 105.5kg and have lost 7.6kg so far. I know it can be really hard to step on those scales and find out the truth, but it is good to know where you are starting from. Personally I was shocked at my starting weight but it is just a figure! Good luck with your weight loss

Hi All ... umm this is my first post, really not to sure how to get started. So I'm 24 years old and have been over weight pretty much my whole life. I've always wanted to and dreamt of losing weight but I think I lack motivation and will power. At my heaviest I was 110kg, I got down to 91kg but since then I've slowly crept up to my current weight of 97kg ... grrrrr I'm so frustrated with myself and I just want to be happy, healthy and comfortable with in myself, something I've never been.
Whenever i've tried losing weight in the past I would keep it to myself and not tell anyone. Not too sure why, maybe out of embaressment ??! Who knows but for the first time I'm putting myself out there :? Eeeeek !

So here goes, this is my plan ...

Breakfast: 1 Up&Go + 1 piece of fruit
Lunch: 1 Health Choice meal + Steamed vegies or garden salad
Dinner: 100 gm Lean Meat/Fish/Chicken + steamed vegies
Snacks as needed: Yoghurt, Nuts or Fruit
Minimum of 2L Water per day and 30min Walk

Good luck to everyone with their journeys
Sam =)

Hi there, I'm Nic.

I think this may be the forum for me as I have (gulp) 30kgs to lose. It feels overwhelming at the moment but I'm hoping to stick to my guns, get the weight off sensibly and maintain a healthy weight instead of constantly yo-yoing. Seeing photos of myself (I usually avoid getting my photo taken) at a recent wedding made me realise how out of control I've let things get. It was a sad and shaming experience but also the kick up the bum I've needed for awhile now.

Has been great to read the posts on this forum for some much needed inspiration.

Cheers, Nic

PS Here's hoping my ticker works!
