Lose 4 Kilos

Postby Queensland.Girl » Tue Apr 28, 2009 2:54 pm

Hi All,

I'm new here, and I'd like to get back on track with my weight. Last November I weighed 50 kilos, however now I weigh almost 54 Kilos (53.7 today). I am going to try to include some exercise every day, and cut down on treats like fast food, and all those sweets I like to have with coffee. At the moment I am pulling on pants that fitted me last year that now no longer fit, and this tells me I need to make some changes. I am only 18, so I don't want my weight to keep creeping up. If anyone has some tips for shifting these kilos, I would be grateful.

Hi QL girl!
I just had my little sis yesterday saying the same things to me! She is 54kgs and usually around 52 so I told her to make a couple of small your coffee switch to skim, drink a couple of bottles of water a day (min 1.5L) and have two pieces of fruit a day...bulk up meals with veges and salad instead of too many starchy carbs! Low fat yoghurt is a great snack - low in cals and filling :)
Good luck x

Hi Qld girl

I am 25 and when I was 18 had the perfect figure (about 60kg and a size 8-10) if I have any advice for you, it's get it under control now!

18 is the perfect age to start learning good habits and keeping control of your weight.

I found the after being skinny through high school and uni I never needed to worry about my weight, however at the age 0f 24 was a size 12 and 76kgs....over time I just put on 15 kilos and they crept on slowly, through graduating, getting a desk job, drinking and eating out lots, and being in a relationship etc.
Highest weight: 76kg
SW: 75 kg (September 2008)
CW: 69kg (26 May 2009)
GW: 64kg <_---------------------------- **
YAY - in the 60's!
