Songs to exercise to :)

Postby Playboy_bunny » Mon Oct 22, 2007 9:11 pm

I just had a thought and I think this might be a good topic to have here :) What music do you listen to when you work out?? What pumps you up and keeps you going? I find I either need stuff that gets me angry, so I want to pound the pavement or stuff that features hot chicks LOL so I can picture the video clips of how I want to be someday! Golden Oldies and funky 70s are great too :)
Here is some of what is on my mp3 player-
HEAPS by Michael Jackson
The Beatles
Led Zeppelin
Rolling Stones
The Doors
Black Sabbath
Pink Floyd
Duran Duran
Mc hammer  LOL
David Bowie
lots of 70's funky disco stuff
Spice girls
pussycat dolls
christina aguilera
snoop dogg
dr. dre
notorious BIG
Little Kim
Missy elliot
Ja Rule
50 cent
Justin Timberlake
Black eyed peas
J lo
Limp Bizkit
Fall out boy
Panic! at the disco
Smashing pumpkins
Just to name a few! :D
so what are you listening to?

:P Dance, all forms of dance. House, Electro, Techno, Hardcore, Gabba, Trance, PsyTrance.. the list goes on and on.

A.. I just like the music, and
B.. It's full of beat which makes you want to move. It helps you keep pace and want to keep going.

I'd say Ministry of Sound is probably best for walking at a reasonable pace outside.

I use Hardcore, Psy and Gabba for either dancing for very quick walking/jogging on the tredmill.

Buuut, thats me :)

I find that any music that you are into does the job. If you enjoy you forget what you are actually doing.
Distraction is the key.

I usually listen to really high tempo electronica while I'm doing cardio, but I just put my playlist on shuffle for weights. . When I'm out walking, I like listening to jazz.
