Portion Size VS Calories

I have big meals with usually only fruit or yoghurt in between. so what I want to know is, if I'm having large portion sizes does it really matter if I don't exceed my daily calorie limit of 1300?

I'd love to know what you're eating if you can have large portions and still stay under 1300 :D

Ultimately it comes down to energy in vx energy out but the reason that it's said to have more frequent smaller meals is that your metabolism will stay firing instead f slowing down inbetween meals. But, I think, it's up to you if that's how you want to take your calories and it works then go with it! :D
