But my favourite is Hugo Boss - Pure Purple. It was bought as a present (i don't usually like perfume as presents unles I pick them) so was hesitant but I LOVE IT!!!

Perfume is my addiction (along with food ). I bought somewhere along the lines of 40 bottles last year alone but I have had to slow down as storing them has become a problem.
I love the classics, although some of them aren't what they were in days gone by, I adore them.


Some of my all time favourites are Mitsouko, L'Heure Bleue, Shalimar (of course ) and My number 1 is Guerlains Apres L'ondee.

I like to wear them seasonally, dry, spicy orientals for the cooler months and crisp, citrus and green for the warmer months.
Today I will reach for Miss Dior.

Hi Pandora, I have around 70-80 bottles . They are all stored in foam eskies in my wardrobe to protect them from the heat and light .

Much to hubbies relief I have only bought around 3 or 4 bottles this year .

WOW and i thought my collection of 7 (now was a lot!!! i've got 8 full sized large bottles, plus 4 little ones, 12 different ones lol. how do you wear them all before they go off?

I store them in foam eskies in the wardrobe to keep them out of the heat, when it gets hot I bring them into the main part of the house where the air conditioning is on and they are all still in their original boxes as well.
If stored correctly perfumes last for years. There is a huge and I mean huge market for vintage perfumes. I know of people that have bought bottles from the 1920's and 1930's and they are as fresh as the day they were made.
In saying that I am sure that the odd bottle will turn but time will tell.

which scents are everyone coveting right now? i want to buy a bottle of kouros, i just love it when a man wears it, i think i need to snaffle someone's bottle to smell while i wait for the boy i think it is one of those love it or hate it colognes.

ive got: gucci (the classic brown one), chanel no 5, prada, burberry, guess (my fave), guess gold, chanel chance, paris hilton (it was a pressie but is actually REALLY nice!) and my little ones are miss dior cherie (my next big bottle i think), pure poison by dior, midnight poison by dior, and par amour by clarins. lol what a list

I admit I'm not a fan of Kouros, my current fav. for a man is Bvlgari Black, it is actually a unisex frag. and has a vanilla drydown like no other although with he warmer weather fast approaching it would get too cloying.

In summer I prefer the green and citrus scents, both on male and females.
For men something like Guerlains Du Coq or Annick Gouttals Hadrien Absolu.
For females I like Gres' Cabotine, Balmains Vent Vert or Lancomes O de Lancome.

What a mixture, variety is good, the only ones that I have out of your collection is Chanel No 5 in the parfum and I have Burberry Brit Red, rhubarb and vanilla, it's gorgeous. I haven't sniffed Miss Dior Cherie yet although I do have Miss Dior but I think they are totally different as far as I know.


Anyway I really love all this perfume talk but I have to jump in the shower and then of course choose my frag of the day .

Hi GI, the only Trussardi I have is called Inside, it's coffee and woody. .


This morning I have ended up with Guerlain Jicky, released In 1889 with notes of lavender, lemon, mandarine, bergamot and civet.
