Hot Spiced Apple Juice Recipe Healthy Snack Recipe : Hot Spiced Apple Juice

Blackcurrents are high in antioxidants and Vitamin C and the health benefits of apples are well known.

This Hot Spiced Apple Juice Recipe is a winter warmer that combines a popular juice combination with some flavoursome spices to give it some extra zest.

Enjoy instead of tea or coffee for a healthy cold day pick-me-up.
Serves:
This Recipe Serves 2.
Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups (500ml) apple juice
  • 6 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon stick
Method:

  1. Pour apple juice into microwave proof jug. Place cloves and cinnamon stick in with apple juice.


  2. Place jug in m/w, heat on 800 w Med/High 2 minutes or until the juice is hot (not boiling).


  3. Strain apple juice using tea strainer, and discard cloves and cinnamon.


  4. Serve apple juice in mugs or glasses and enjoy!
