Alex is amazing at what he does. Prior to working with Alex I was dealing with chronic and daily pain. At the worst of times I would need walking aids and daily medication to be functional. He is able to see problems with my body and find the real source of my pain. He doesn't want to just treat me and send me on my way, he wants to educate me as to why these problems are occurring and how we can permanently make improvements through stretching, exercise and body awareness. IF YOU ARE IN PAIN YOU NEED TO CALL ALEX!
    Matt D
I started seeing Alex because I had lower back pain, a stiff sore hip and nerve pain running down my leg. It's been a slow process for me but I'm now seeing results. My mobility and posture have improved and I no longer have nerve pain down my leg. Alex has always been patient with me and makes sure that i understand the exercises and stretches he gives me. He's helped me physically and mentally and I highly recommend him to anyone of any age if you are in pain or have any injuries.
    Lisa
Could not recommend Alex more! He got to the root cause of ongoing lower back pain and helped me with exercises and stretches to get me moving confidently again. He also has an invested interest in your recovery by checking in on you between sessions and staying late through sessions to ensure you are doing the exercises correctly.

There is so much noise out there and to be honest with my lifestyle and eating out all the time the chances of me sticking to any strict regime was just simply not going to happen. [The Lift Lab helped overcome this challenge]
    John Elliott
I first commenced using LiftLab in early 2015 where I was looking to 'change up' my training program. From here I requested further information around nutrition and was able to receive guidance in the form of basics of 'Do's & Dont's' of nutrition. I truly believe I would not be where I am today in my health and fitness journey without the assistance of such a great coach.
    Roberta Westlund
Matt was 37kg with a lung function of only 25% when he started. He couldn't even lift an empty bar when he walked into the gym, we had to start him on 3kg Dumbbells. Doctors had told him that it was nearly impossible for him to put weight on with his condition. Matt was born with cystic fibrosis... [Transformative results achieved through rehabilitation-focused training]

When Lani first joined us, she battled a shoulder issue and was searching for strength. Fast forward to now, and her shoulder is a non-issue, while she's crushing weights that used to intimidate her. She's squatting what she once deadlifted and even adding Olympic lifts and muscle-ups to her routine like a pro! For Lani, it's the consistently fantastic programming that's turned her into a powerhouse!
    Lani
When John joined Small Goods, he faced common challenges like struggling with squats and lacking confidence in overhead lifts. Fast forward to today, and he's achieved impressive milestones, including a 190kg deadlift and a 150kg squat, all while benefiting from supportive coaching that keeps him accountable.
    John
After trying everything from commercial gyms to group classes, Daniel struggled to find the accountability and encouragement he craved. Now, he leaves his headphones at home because Small Goods is where he goes to hang out with his family and finds his community.
