About
Desert Dietitians is your go-to for nutrition expertise in Central Australia. We prioritise evidence-based nutrition solutions over fad diets, offering practical methods to promote better health. With over a decade in Australia's unique landscape, our team collaborates with healthcare providers like Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation and Healthy Living NT to deliver tailored nutrition programs.
We support weight concerns, women's health, gut health, paediatric nutrition, disability nutrition, chronic disease, and more. We help you create your meal plan, discuss your goals and build strategies to reach them. We offer a Mealtime Therapy program using Responsive Feeding techniques as endorsed by WHO.
We are passionate about providing realistic nutrition advice and goals to meet your nutrition needs.
Approach: Realistic, evidence-based, goal-oriented, collaborative, strength-based and neurodiversity-affirming; passionate about culturally safe and responsive care
Weight Loss Approach
Non-prescriptive, person-centred approach focused on helping clients feel the best version of themselves; acknowledges weight loss as one possible goal alongside broader wellbeing; provides meal plans, goal-setting and behavioural strategies.
