Kimberley Dutkowski
Neurodiversity Nutrition
About
Hello, my name is Kim and I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist and founder of Neurodiversity Nutrition. As a dietitian specialised in disability for many years, my passion lies in working with neurodivergent children, adults and families. I look forward to working with all neurospicy brains and providing a flavourful service — as unique as you.
I provide a dietitian service that meets your or your child's medical needs, learning style, sensory profile, regulation and lifestyle. When possible I like to be hands on and practical with food and exploring it through sensory play, food preparation, cooking, supermarket visits, pantry clear outs, personalised recipes, food games or eating out together. As a proud ADHDer I bring an ND lens to working with you.
Neurodiversity Nutrition celebrates the diversity of the human mind and the diversity this means for someone's eating and nutrition. This is a no-pressure approach to eating emphasising responsive feeding, environment modification, education and safe client-led food adventures.
Approach: Neuroaffirming, no-pressure, hands-on and practical; celebrates neurodiversity; responsive feeding focus; client-led; lived experience as an ADHDer informs her practice.
Weight Loss Approach
Weight management is listed as an area of practice, but the practice's primary focus is on neuroaffirming, non-pressure nutrition support for neurodivergent individuals. The approach emphasises responsive feeding, environment modification, education, and a positive relationship with food rather than weight-centric goals.
