Wise Dietetics
About
I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist, Diabetes Educator, and founder of Wise Dietetics. I have over 10 years experience as a dietitian, and I am extremely passionate about helping women (and couples) improve their understanding of nutrition to optimise health, especially their fertility health. My goal is to provide simple and practical evidence based nutrition and lifestyle strategies to increase the likelihood of conception, a healthy pregnancy, and a beautiful healthy baby.
I have firsthand experience in the difficulties of trying to conceive, having endured multiple miscarriages and unsuccessful IVF rounds, before being blessed with my own little girl. I understand the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with trying to conceive and assisted reproductive technology, and I am here to support you on your journey to conception and into parenthood. I know the amount of information out there is overwhelming, and some of it can be conflicting and often inaccurate, so I am here to provide you with the right information, but also to make sure you feel heard, understood and supported on your journey.
Approach: Compassionate, evidence-based, practical and personalised. Emphasises feeling heard, understood and supported. No 'one size fits all' approach; works collaboratively with clients.
Weight Loss Approach
Personalised, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies. Weight management addressed in the context of women's health, perimenopause/menopause, PCOS, and insulin resistance. Focus on whole foods, hormonal balance, blood sugar regulation, and addressing individual nutritional needs.
No explicit 'non-diet' or HAES framing mentioned.
