About
Welcome to my nutrition practice, Healthy Core. I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), Accredited Nutritionist (AN), and Accredited Sports Dietitian, with a passion for helping clients nourish and fuel their bodies for overall health, happiness and performance. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition.
My aim is to support clients in a non-judgemental and friendly way and to create a safe space for people to talk about their challenges with food. I promote a Non-Diet Approach to health and nutrition, with a focus on helping clients achieve a healthy relationship with food, movement & their body. Studies show that dietary behaviour change, rather than weight loss itself, plays a greater role in health improvement.
I will deliver the most recent evidence-based nutrition advice and work with you to feel educated and build skills and awareness around food & nutrition.
Approach: Non-judgemental, friendly, evidence-based, creates a safe space. Focuses on behaviour change, practical skills, debunking nutrition myths, and personalised strategies. Anti-diet-mentality, food-first approach.
Weight Loss Approach
Non-Diet Approach / Intuitive Eating / Health at Every Size (HAES). Focuses on long-term sustainable behaviour change rather than weight loss as a primary goal. Not 'anti-weight loss' but believes dietary behaviour change plays a greater role in health improvement than weight loss itself.
Encourages letting go of rigid food rules, reconnecting with hunger/fullness cues, and developing a healthy relationship with food. Evidence-based, personalised approach.
