Zoe Martin
Fuelled by Zoe
About
I'm a sports and eating disorder dietitian helping people find food freedom so they can feel strong, confident, and normal around food. I use a non-diet, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approach to help you find freedom from food, regain your brain space and shift your focus from weight and body shape to overall well-being. Once you shift from a dieting and calorie burning mindset to a fuelling and performance mindset, you stop feeling like you're fighting a losing battle and start thriving.
Food is so much more than just nutrition — it's social connection, community, tradition, celebration, pleasure, comfort, culture and excitement. Your diet shouldn't be a source of stress, anxiety and guilt; it should support and empower you to do the important stuff.
Approach: Non-diet, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, empathetic and empowering. Creates a safe, non-judgmental space. Clients describe her as down-to-earth, professional and able to simplify complex concepts into practical strategies.
Weight Loss Approach
Non-diet, neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approach. Explicitly shifts focus away from weight and body shape toward performance, health and quality of life. Philosophy centres on fuelling and performance rather than calorie burning or restriction.
Does not pursue weight loss as a primary goal.
