About
After a bit of a nomadic earlier life, Rima has settled in Tasmania with her Swedish husband and two little girls. With 10 years of experience as a dietitian, Rima has an extensive range of knowledge in treating a variety of conditions. Rima joins the team with personal experience in managing food allergies and fussy eating and an interest in all things paediatric.
She is currently accepting self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants for appointments and enjoys helping families with feeding problems of all descriptions get enjoyment back into their meal times. Rima also has a keen interest in the dietary management of many gastrointestinal related conditions, including the low FODMAP diet and the low food chemical diet for IBS, and she brings experience gained working at the Royal Hobart Hospital in gastroenterology and oncology. Rima is a passionate advocate of lifestyle changes to facilitate nutrition that can improve your symptoms and your quality of life.
