Japanese Savoury Pancakes
We have kept this recipe simple but delicious, so even the kids will love them.

Ingredients
- *Pancakes:
- 2 cups finely shredded Chinese cabbage
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- 1 cup pain flour
- 2 tbsp. cornflour
- 1 spring onion, sliced finely
- 1½ cups water
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- *Sauce:
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
Method
- 1Place all your pancake ingredients into a large mixing bowl and with your hand mix until all incorporated.
- 2Heat a large non-stick fry pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Once heated divide your mixture into 4 parts with a spoon and let cook for a few minutes on one side then flip to cook on the other side. Take off heat and place onto your serving plate.
- 3Mix the tomato, soy and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl and drizzle over the pancakes. Then dollop a little mayonnaise (this is optional) on each pancake.
