Ingredients

  • *Base
  • 2 Pears – Packham cut into 1cm cubes
  • 2 Apples – Granny Smith cut into 1cm cubes
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp cornflour
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • *Crumble Mixture
  • 50g Plain Flour (1/3 cup)
  • 50g Oats (1/3 cup)
  • 50g Brown Sugar (1/3 cup)
  • 4 plain sweet biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 60g (4 tbl) Light Margarine

Method

  1. 1Preheat Oven to 200C.
  2. 2Place pear and apples into bowl with vanilla, lemon juice, cornflour and 2 tablespoons of the sugar. Mix until all coated. Place into oven proof dish.
  3. 3To make the topping place the flour, oats, remaining sugar, biscuits, cinnamon, margarine into a food processor and pulse until resembles fine crumbs.
  4. 4Place onto base mixture in dish and bake for approx 25 mins until crispy.
  5. 5Serve with low fat ice cream if desired.
