Tim is the founder of Newcastle Obesity Surgery Centre, Charlestown.

- Medical School: Nottingham University UK. Qualifications: BMBS 1987, FRCS 1999, DM 2001, FRACS 2002. Post Graduate: Training in general and laparoscopic surgery in Nottingham, Liverpool, Leeds UK and Adelaide SA. Training completed in 1999. Other experience in plastic surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery.

Gastric Bypass▼
One of the three most commonly performed procedures worldwide to help people with severe obesity lose weight safely. Performed laparoscopically. Gastric bypass is considered 'the end of the line' as revisions for this procedure are rarely ever performed.
Gastric Banding▼

Revisional Surgery▼
Bariatric revision surgery is a procedure that can help achieve weight loss goals after a previous bariatric surgery has failed or not produced desired results. It is intended to correct any complications, deficiencies or poor outcomes that may have arisen as a result of a previous bariatric surgery. Can include conversion from gastric band to sleeve or bypass, gastric sleeve to bypass, or revision of older style stomach stapling to bypass.

Tummy tuck offered for suitable candidates once patients have lost their weight after bariatric surgery, for removal of loose skin.
