Sleeve Gastrectomyaverage loss of 35% total body weight over ten years▼
A keyhole surgery involving 5 cuts from 5 to 15mm in size, using a 36 french Gastrisail bougie for precise calibration. Approximately 90% of residual stomach is removed. The sleeve is made tight for greater weight loss in short and probably long term.

Adjustable gastric banding is considered the safest weight loss surgery available as there is no cutting or stapling of the stomach. Using laparoscopy, a silicone band filled with saline solution is fitted around the upper stomach, reducing stomach size to a small gastric pouch which restricts food intake. The band is adjusted regularly by your surgeon and is reversible.

There is an initial consulting fee of which you will receive a partial refund from Medicare. Subsequent consultation with respect to the initial consultation are bulk billed and David offers indefinite bulk billed after care to his Bariatric patients. Mr Scott treats privately insured patients and self funded patients (including Compassionate Release of Superannuation) for these bariatric procedures.
